In addition it saves you a lot of error-handling in comparison to optimistic locking which is used within the Microsoft .NET Dataset Technology.

• Database Applications with up to 200 concurrent users. (If you create an application for only a few users, you can even use the free MS SQL Server Desktop Engine)
• Client/Server or Web-enabled Architectures or both
• Reliable data processing required
• Data-models ranging from a few classes up to complex information repositories with 200+ relationships.

The generated Persistent Object model and the underlying O/R Mapper encapsulate the underlying database technology. Your Business Logic can be directly written into the User Classes in the Persistent Object Model, making it accessible from Windows Forms, Web Forms and Web Services as displayed in the following diagrams:
